Q: What Does FoodTest95™ Test For?

A: We are testing the IgG portion of the patients’ immune system. More specifically we use the ELISA method to test IgG antibodies. 95 foods are tested through a simple finger prick that can be performed in under 3 minutes.

Q: How Many Foods Are Tested?

A: As the name indicates, FoodTest95™ tests 95 of the most commonly consumed foods. Of course we test the most common culprits for health challenges (dairy, eggs, gluten etc.).

Q: Does Insurance Pay For This Test?

A: No. Health insurance looks at this type of test as “exploratory” and won’t cover it. This is a cash service.  Credit cards and checks are accepted as well. One’s Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) will be an acceptable form of payment as well.

Q: What Conditions Are Associated With Food Sensitivities Or Intolerances?

A: The most common conditions we see that are correlated with food sensitivities are digestive issues / IBS, migraines, weight loss resistance, thyroid & other autoimmune conditions, skin problems (eczema), poor energy / chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain / inflammation etc.
